Weekly wrap-up : number thirty-four

The weekly wrap-up is my way of keeping my loyal readers informed of my bookish activities and holding myself to my bookish obligations. The questions may change slightly depending on the week.

Q: What are you reading right now?
A: The Taint of Midas by Anne Zouroudi

Q: Why are you reading it? Business? Pleasure? For review?
A: I received a copy for review.

Q: What was the last thing you read?
A: The Messenger of Athens by Anne Zouroudi

Q: What do you plan to read next?
A: I'm hoping to finally read A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan.

Q: Why do you want to read it?
A: I loved the other Jennifer Egan novel I've read, The Keep.

Q: What books did you acquire?
A: I picked up Unfamiliar Fishes by Sarah Vowell and The Last Dickens by Matthew Pearl at Borders.
